Expression of Interest: Fundraising and Engagement Committee

The Victorian Pride Centre (VPC) invites expressions of interest from experienced and engaged individuals to join our newly established Fundraising and Engagement Committee. This committee will replace the Communications and Engagement Committee and will play a critical role in supporting the VPC core Marketing, Communications and Fundraising team and enacting the VPC’s 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.

About the Committee

The Fundraising and Engagement Committee has been established to provide strategic advice and expertise on external relations and fundraising. Its primary objectives include:

  • Strengthening the VPC’s external relationships, including engagement with government, community partners, corporate stakeholders, donors, and sponsors.
  • Advising on and supporting fundraising strategies, including philanthropy, corporate partnerships, donor relations, bequests, and grants.
  • Enhancing the VPC’s financial sustainability to ensure the long-term success and impact of the organisation.
  • Expanding the VPC’s network and opportunities to secure funding and strategic partnerships.

Who Should Apply?

We are seeking individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Fundraising & donor relations (philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, sponsorships).
  • Corporate affairs & stakeholder engagement (government, business, and community partnerships).
  • External relations, with a particular interest in LGBTIQA+ community engagement.

Participation in the committee is on a voluntary basis, and members will collaborate with the VPC Board, CEO, and staff to provide expert guidance in alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
