Bendigo Queer Film Festival (BQFF) provides cultural and artistic opportunities to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTI) people living in Central Victoria. BQFF is recognised as a significant event by the LGBTI community and by the City of Greater Bendigo.

Background: BQFF is a not-for-profit community group auspiced by Women’s Health Loddon Mallee (WHLM). The Bendigo Queer Film Festival was founded in 2004 by Chris Walters in collaboration with the Melbourne Queer Film Festival (MQFF), who are the key sponsor and program the films for the Festival.
The Bendigo Queer Film Festival attracts people from all over Victoria and interstate. We are proud to be one of the few regional centres Australia wide, which hosts its own queer film festival.
We are a part of Women's Health Loddon Mallee, who are registered as a: Not-for-profit.
