Event Description

Ballarat Frolic Festival (BFF) is proud to be part of Ballarat Heritage Weekend in 2019 bringing you an exhibit and two tours.

You will find a queer history exhibit in Town Hall from 10am to 5pm each day. Come and have a chat about Ballarat’s fascinating suppressed history.

We’ll also be running two ticketed Queer History Tours at 2:30pm each day, leaving from just outside Town Hall.

You will be guided through central Ballarat and given a glimpse of what life would have been like for LGBT+ residents of the Goldfields area in days gone by. Wander some of Ballarat’s best known streets and discover some new insights to this wonderful historical town.
