Event Description

Come warm up for Ballarat Frolic Festival at a special Frolic Edition of No Lights, No Lycra Ballarat and meet your Frolic BFF before BFF officially kicks off.

Never been to No Lights, No Lycra (NLNL)? NLNL is a global dance community providing an inclusive and non-judgmental place for people to explore this notion. NLNL brings people together to experience freedom of self-expression and joy. There is no light, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, and no technique. NLNL is a place to completely be yourself.

NLNL will be playing a special queer classics playlist for us to dance in the (almost) dark!

We’ll be meeting outside the Victorian Railways Institute Hall from 7:45pm. Dress up in something you feel comfortable dancing in, and feel free to wear something rainbow so we know you’re with us.

Doors close at 8pm sharp. Dancing goes for 1 hour. This is an all-ages event – from the young to the young at heart!

$8 entry on the door. Cash only. No EFTPOS facilities are available.

Come dance with us at the Victorian Railway Institute Hall Ballarat – on the north side of the train station

You can find more information on NLNL here: and find the NLNL Ballarat FB page here.

Please note: this event will feature loud music so may not be suitable for people who have auditory sensory issues.
