Take in botanic gardens, creekland parks and the bayside foreshore in this circuit starting and finishing at Frankston Station. Limit of 20 participants.
GRADE | LENGTH | TYPE: Easy to moderate 10.5 km circuit walk.
From Frankston Station we follow the Frankston Baxter Trail to George Pentland Botanic Gardens. After exploring those, we follow a series of parks to the Frankston Foreshore, and walk along that around to Sweetwater Creek, which we follow to the Sweetwater Creek Nature Reserve, our lunch spot. After lunch we retrace our steps, but continue a little further along the foreshore prior to heading inland to return to the Frankston Station.

DISTANCE | TIME FROM GPO: 45 km, 50 minutes to drive via Nepean Hwy, 1 hour 5 minutes by train from Flinders Street Station.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The Frankston line train that departs from Flinders Street Station at 9:23am arrives at Frankston at 10:28am.
FOOD: Carry lunch, snacks and a litre of water.
