DESCRIPTION:Tom Ballard presents an unforgettable night of sharp\, intelligent and laugh-out-loud stand-up comedy at Castlemaine’s Phee Broadway Theatre on Saturday\, 17 October.\nKnown for his quick wit and incisive social commentary\, Tom has performed at comedy festivals around the world; cohosted the triple j breakfast show; acted in hit comedies Fisk and Deadloch; and now co-hosts a weekly podcast about green-left politics in Australia\, Serious Danger.\nThe event is a fundraiser for The Greens’ Bendigo West campaign for the upcoming Victorian state election\, which Greens candidate Liza Shaw is contesting.\n“I can’t wait to bring my dumb jokes and a funny slideshow to beautiful Castlemaine for this special event\,” says Tom. “I encourage every farmer\, tree-changer and artist/witch in the surrounding area to come along for a night of big laughs and good fun\, all in aid of winning a better future for our progressive state.”
