DESCRIPTION:Come picnic with us at the beautiful Hepburn Ampitheatre! \nSound Shell Saturday started out a youth-led idea and has fast become the festival highlight for many for 2022. Hosted by our fave Drag Racer\, Art Simone. And special guests appearance by MARZ. This all-ages event creates a safe space for families and all ages to chill and hear stories from a multigenerational panel (which include our amazing ambassadors and local stars) and see live music\, drag queens\, DJs and more. There are stalls from V-line\, Headspace\, Thorne Harbour Health and Hepburn Shire youth. A fantastic youth panel of Daylesford College students are talking about gender fluidity and all things queer. The amazing trans clothes-swap stall will be there and a pop-up fashion parade! Bring the whole rainbow family down for a beautiful morning at the stunning Hepburn Sound Shell (next to Hepburn Bathhouse) and enjoy this beautiful heartwarming FREE event. \nPlease note this is an no alcohol\, no drugs\, no smoking\, and no vaping event.

DESCRIPTION:Special viewing and Q&A of documentary “Who I Am”. \nWho I Am follows a transgender teen who is also autistic. Research shows that people who are neurodivergent are more likely to be trans or gender diverse\, but little is known about why. After being bullied at school\, Charlie (pronouns he/they) finally comes out to their mum\, setting him on a path of navigating the first steps of his transition – the social transition – and ultimately settling into their identity with a new name Aether. Meanwhile their mum Anthea goes on her own journey to embracing her child for all that he is. The story is told through observational moments\, intimate reflections from the whole family\, and Aether’s own original animated characters\, The Fallens\, coming to life.
