The Victorian Pride Centre and Endeavour Group have partnered to host a future
LGBTIQA+ leaders panel supported by Minus18 Young Leaders and Young Leader
Alumni on Tuesday 26 August 2025 to mark Wear It PurpleⓇ Day.
Centred around this year’s theme, “Bold voices, bright futures”, the event will
spotlight four inspiring future LGBTIQA+ leaders who are driving change and creating
impact in their communities. Speakers will share personal stories, reflect on what
leadership means to them, and explore the power of youth-led advocacy.
The panel will include Abbie Jane, founder of the Rainbow Shoelace Project,
alongside other passionate young advocates.
Held at the Victorian Pride Centre, the event is free and open to all, with a warm
invitation extended to LGBTIQA+ young people, their friends, families and allies.
Morning tea will be provided following the discussion.
