Hosted in partnership with Rainbow Families Switchboard and presented in Partnership with the Victorian Government\, this event aligns with the National Children’s Week theme\, “Children have the right to a clean and safe environment\,” and features Frock Hudson. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Victorian Pride Centre to celebrate International Lesbian Day with a gathering of connection\, wellness\, and community. \nStart your day with a Free Yoga Class from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm\, led by inclusive and experienced instructor Bec from Refract Yoga. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced\, this yoga session is all about nurturing our bodies and minds\, bringing us together in celebration of the strength and beauty within the lesbian community. \nRefract Yoga Practice incorporates Vinyasa\, Hatha\, and Yin styles of yoga in a 60-minute beginner-friendly class\, led by Bec (Yoga Instructor and Psychologist). BYO mat if you have one – some mats will be available to borrow \nAfter yoga\, take a break\, then return at 2:00 pm for a Free Tour of the Victorian Pride Centre. Explore this vibrant space that’s dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community\, and learn more about the Pride Centre’s role in empowering our stories\, histories\, and future. Together\, we’ll share Herstories and celebrate the achievements and contributions of lesbians throughout history\, honoring the powerful legacy of love\, resistance\, and joy.
