Birds of a Feather – quarterly LGBTIQA+ luncheons and events

About

‘Birds of a Feather’ exists to enrich and empower the lives of older LGBTIQA+ adults living within the Macedon Ranges Shire (and beyond) by providing a safe and affirming space to come together, to share our stories and belong.

‘Birds of a Feather’ gathers on a quarterly basis for lunch and to hear a guest speaker from community share their story and experiences. Previous guest speakers include Rodney Croome, Danielle Laidley, Ian Roberts, Annie Smithers, Julie Peters, Judy Small, but to name a few.

On occasion BOAF will however hit the road for a more immersive experience. To date we have had a sausage sizzle on the roof top of the Victorian Pride Centre and have wandered the gardens of chef extraordinaire Annie Smithers at Babbington Park.

‘Birds of a Feather’ requires you to let us know you are coming and is a free event with food and drinks at bar prices.

Keep an eye out for our next adventures on our CLIP Cobaw Facebook page or on our website: News & Events – Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health
