DocLIST

About

DocLIST is an online list of doctors, dentists and mental health professionals recommended by lesbian, bisexual, same sex attracted and queer women in Australia.  It is a project of the Australian Lesbian Medical Association, and has been running since 2010.

Community members can find or recommend a doctor, dentist or mental health professional using DocLIST. www.doclist.com.au

DocLIST Links is a searchable table of over 600 organisations, groups and resources which may be of interest to LGBTIQ people.

The DocLIST team are working with health professionals to increase their capacity to provide excellent and inclusive health care to LGBTIQ people through the DocLIST Health Professionals page, as well as the DocLIST Health Professionals Newsletter, published 3 times per year (past issues on website).  Much of the content on our Health Professionals page is accessible to community members as well as health professional.

DocLIST invites lesbian bisexual same sex attracted and queer women to make recommendations of doctors, dentists and mental health professionals who they have seen as a patient / client and who they would recommend to other LGBTIQ community members. See our Contribute page.

The DocLIST team welcome community members letting others know about this resource e.g. through FaceBook and Twitter. We have been collaborating with the team at DocDir LGBTIQ+ over the past couple of years to help build and promote both resources.
