InterAction for Health and Human Rights

About

InterAction for Health and Human Rights is the leading national body by and for people with innate variations of sex characteristics. We bring together Intersex Peer Support Australia and Intersex Human Rights Australia under a new brand.

We are here for all people with innate variations of sex characteristics and our families. We promote the health, human rights, self-determination and bodily autonomy of intersex people in Australia. Our goals are to help create a society where our bodies are not stigmatised, and where our rights as people are respected, protected and fulfilled. To do this, we build community, evidence, capacity, and education and information resources. We deliver psychosocial support, peer support and advocacy programs, including via the InterLink and Intersex Peer Support Australia programs.

Yellow Tick training packages delivered online or face-to-face (subject to availability and public health regulations) by experienced people with lived experience: covering topics included but not limited to Brief introduction to Intersex people and issues, Intersex content and application half-day workshops, Custom and sector-specific training, Guest lectures and speaking engagements. Cost varies depending on training, and number of participants.

We are registered as: Charity.
