At Married By A Teddy, I create modern, inclusive, and deeply affirming ceremonies for LGBTQIA+ people at every stage of their journey — from weddings and vow renewals to identity and gender affirmation ceremonies.

Based in Melbourne, my work is grounded in authenticity, respect, and intentional design. Every ceremony is crafted from scratch — no recycled scripts, no assumptions, and no outdated traditions. Whether you’re celebrating love, commitment, or becoming more fully yourself, your ceremony should feel safe, empowering, and unmistakably you.

I specialise in bespoke wedding ceremonies for LGBTQIA+ couples who want something meaningful, modern, and free from heteronormative expectations. From intimate elopements and destination weddings to larger celebrations, I design ceremonies that centre genuine connection, thoughtful storytelling, and emotional truth — without awkwardness or cliché.

Alongside weddings, I proudly Becoming You — identity and gender affirmation ceremonies created for people affirming their name, gender, or sense of self. These ceremonies are held with care, sensitivity, and deep respect, offering space to honour personal truth, resilience, and self-recognition. Whether private or shared with loved ones, Becoming Youceremonies are affirming, grounding, and celebratory in equal measure.

My approach is calm, collaborative, and supportive. I guide clients through the legal aspects of marriage where relevant, while ensuring every ceremony — legal or symbolic — remains personal, expressive, and aligned with individual values. Gender-neutral language, inclusive structure, and trauma-aware facilitation are central to my practice.
