Pride Beyond Borders (PBB)

About

Pride Beyond Borders (formerly bridge meals) is a commitment to the belief that all rainbow communities and people deserve high quality mental health support to navigate their lived and living experience regardless of their background or their status.

There are incredible barriers that LGBTIQA+ refugee, asylum seeker and displaced people’s (RASDP) communities face to accessing support and we are passionate about breaking down those barriers where we can. We walk alongside the LGBTIQA+ RASDP communities to support their mental health and wellbeing through therapeutic support and social inclusion programs

What we offer LGBTIQA+ RASDP communities through Pride Beyond Borders:

  • A fortnightly mental health group [online and in person]
  • Monthly mental health and wellbeing workshops [online and in person]
  • A no cost counselling clinic [online and in person]
  • Monthly social events organised by the PBB community and a great way to meet people, connect with the community, and enjoy incredible food with others [in person]
  • Information databases to support the community in accessing the right services, including: legal services, physical health/medical supports, housing services, mental health organisations, crisis support and family violence services. [on our website]

Our services are available online and in-person for people located across Australia except for the monthly social events which are held in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.

You can learn more about our services and social inclusion programs here

We are a part of The Iceberg Foundation, who are registered as a: Charity.
