Sex Work Law Reform Victoria

About

Sex Work Law Reform Victoria is an independent law reform lobby group supporting the full decriminalisation of sex work in Victoria. We lobby for the improvement of sex workers’ legal rights, including anti-discrimination protections. We actively promote the rights of sex workers.

Our organisation is run by current and former sex workers, including LGBTIQ sex workers. As a sex worker-led organisation, we are committed to listening to and responding to the concerns of our community, always putting the needs of sex workers foremost.  As we are purely a law reform lobby group we do not provide support to individual sex workers.

We adhere to the principles of community law reform as laid out by the Federation of Community Legal Centres. We advocate for systemic change to reduce legal discrimination against sex workers, and adopt a collaborative partnership approach to our work.

We are registered as: Not-for-profit.
