Biography

A gay, grey and physical disabled man living with spinal cord injury rolling through life on a wheelchair.
I am the son of Eurasian immigrants originally from Malaysia.
I have worked from 28 years as a health social worker in client care and focusing on HIV/AIDS & sexual health in both WA and Victoria. I'm currently an undecided retiree as I contemplate a return to the workforce or not.
Volunteering in the LGBTQIA community stirred my life away from the banking and finance sector into human service in 1993, a decision that the saving of my sanity.
After my accident, I put my lived experience with a disability to participate in many workshops, working groups and any areas where I could add a positive advocate voice into the work place for both staff and clients.
I regularly contribute to the Spinal Cord Injury community with my social work knowledge and skills still.
