Biography
Natalia Cicigoi is the founder of The Matriarchs Hearth and a specialist speaker, coach, and advocate for a new kind of leadership — one rooted in emotional intelligence, integrity, and sustainability. Through The Matriarchs Hearth, Natalia supports women and transgender and gender diverse people to develop sustainable, emotionally intelligent leadership and achieve results grounded in integrity. Her work sits at the intersection of personal empowerment and professional growth, creating space for people to lead with authenticity rather than performance.
A Certified Master Coach, Practitioner of Life Coaching, and holder of a Diploma in Life Coaching from The Life Coaching College, Natalia brings both rigorous professional training and deep lived experience to everything she does. Her own journey — including her transition and her identity as a queer woman — is central to her work, and she speaks candidly and courageously about the trans experience, intersectionality, power and privilege, and what it truly means to lead with care and compassion in a capitalist and patriarchal society.
Natalia is a sought-after speaker and facilitator across a wide range of topics including LGBTIQA+ awareness and inclusion, diversity and identity, mental health and wellbeing, organisational change, and the practical application of matriarchal values in modern workplaces. Whether presenting to large conferences, facilitating group conversations, or mentoring individuals, she brings warmth, lived wisdom, and sharp professional insight to every room — helping organisations and individuals move from good intentions to genuine, lasting inclusion.
Experience
I have vast experience in public speaking, starting in 1997 when I commenced school-level public speaking and debating. I have spoken extensively in small group environments in both hospitality and finance, at company meetings, on panels on observed day for the LGBTQIA+ community, and a small-medium sized community gatherings.
My most recent speaking engagement was for Holmesglen Institute's Self-Employment Assistance program, where I spoke on my journey in the business world, and how coaching young women (graduate age) at a finance company, cemented in my mind how vital coaching work is and how care-centred models of leadership and life resonate so deeply with society at large.
