VPC Pride Month 2025

Pride Month 2025 at the VPC is here!

We’re kicking things off on 31 May with our official launch party, setting the stage for a month packed with performances, workshops, parties, art—and even queer line dancing! Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store at the Victorian Pride Centre this June:

Lots of Laughs
This year’s comedy lineup brings a wave of hilarious chaos to the Centre. Fan favourites from Midsumma like Thank God You’re Queer and Smatch Game make their much-anticipated returns. Don’t miss The Wedding by Andy Balloch, a side-splitting take on social nightmares, or Sisterly Acts, a heavenly dose of drag royalty.

On the Screen

One screen, two amazing festivals. St Kilda Film Festival returns with the always-popular Rainbow Showcase, including complimentary post-screening drinks.  Melbourne Queer Film Festival will also take over the big screen with two standout feature films, Drive Back Home (2024) and I’m Your Venus (2024).

Party with Pride

The official launch party is the place to be, but that’s just the beginning. Join Kitty & Lu from Disco Rodeo for queer line dancing lessons throughout June, leading up to the fabulous Gay Tex Party— our final hoedown of the season!

Get ready to celebrate, connect, and dance your heart out all Pride Month long at the VPC!

We’d like to extend a massive thank you to everyone involved in making this wonderful program happen!
