Education

Queer property professionals, Ben Mitchell, Jake Spano, Amanda Moo & Brandon Owens are holding a Property Information Evening on Wednesday 28th September. Held at the Victorian Pride Centre, it will be an evening filled with education, discussions and topics about all things property. We are here to Support our Rainbow Community and their allies.

Jake Spano from Banksia Property Agency will touch on property management & tips and tricks on how to have a “Stand-Out” rental application in securing your next rental property.

Amanda Moo, our Happy Broker will be discussing how she helps would-be home buyers navigate the world of lending. Sharing her top tips on how to best prepare yourself and your finances in order for property shopping.

Ben Mitchell, a Buyer’s Advocate from Your Key Advocacy will be discussing his role in helping you take the stress and anxiety out of the property purchasing experience, ensuring you avoid common pitfalls when purchasing property and keeping level headed during negotiations or the pressure cooker environment of an auction.

Brandon Owens from Willis Conveyancing will discuss how a conveyancer supports you through the property transfer process, with the importance of having a property contract reviewed before committing to any purchase to avoid common issues that may not be obvious to the naked eye.

With some light entertainment provided by some of our queer performance artists, this evening will leave you not just entertained, but equipped with knowledge to head out into the real estate world and purchase your dream home or an investment property that is going to perform.
We look forward to seeing your smiling faces.
