The Victorian Pride Centre is excited to host a program of events at the 2027 Midsumma Festival that connect, support and amplify LGBTIQ+ voices. As Midsumma Festival is Australia’s premier queer arts and cultural festival, a broad spectrum of performances will be curated that showcase the Pride Centre’s values of pride, support, celebration and belonging. These performances will cover a range of styles across cabaret, comedy and theatre from a mix of bright, emerging artists and well-known, established acts within the diverse LGBTIQ+ communities.
The Victorian Pride Centre is excited to host a program of events during Midsumma 2027 that connect, support and amplify LGBTIQ+ voices.
Expressions of interest are now open for performances and events to take place in our spaces which include:
- The Theatrette – A 100-seat theatre equipped with stage, sound system and lighting.
- The Forum – Our flexible event space, is equipped with portable sound system (100-300 pax)
- The Rooftop (weather dependent) – equipped with bar and sound system. (300+)
Applications are open until Friday 16 August, however we will be programming shows as we receive expressions of interest so slots may fill up before then. Get in quick!
Expressions of Interest will take into consideration the viability of the event and the diversity of our community, and all decisions are final.
