The Sidney Myer Fund have generously approved a grant of $50,000 to the Pride Centre to go towards the fit out of our Co-Working Spaces.
The grant enables LGBTIQ community groups to meet and work at the Centre, taking advantage of common areas with working stations, meeting lounges and lockers situated across three floors.
“The establishment of the first Pride Centre in Australia is cause for great excitement” announced Leonard Vary, CEO of the Sidney Myer Fund.
“The Sidney Myer Fund is proud to support the Pride Centre becoming a catalyst for the LGBTIQ community and the wider community to collaborate, connect and innovate by supporting accessible and extensive meeting and working spaces within the Centre”.
Acting Chair of the Victorian Pride Centre, Stuart Kollmorgen, thanked the Sidney Myer Fund for their integral support of Australia’s first purpose-built LGBTIQ Pride Centre.
