House of Awesome

About

The House of Awesome is a fortnightly WayOut facilitated safe space for awesome young people in the Macedon Ranges (i.e Kyneton, Gisborne, Woodend, Romsey, Lancefield and surrounding districts) to meet to share experiences, create and deliver a range of projects, develop leadership skills and connect with other like-minded people. We aim to have fun, celebrate our differences, provide support for others, learn, attend local and state-wide events, and find positive ways to challenge discrimination based on sexuality and gender. WayOut also offers leadership opportunities for young people aged 18-25.

Who is the group for?

LGBTIQA+ young people and their friends up to the age of 21.

We are a part of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health.

We are a part of Cobaw Community Health, who are registered as a: Charity.
