Founded on a belief in the transformative power of queer storytelling—its ability to broaden minds, embolden individuals and unite the community and its allies—the Aesop Queer Library returns to Australia in February 2024. From 7 – 11 February, the shelves of Aesop QV will be cleared of product to showcase books written by LGBTQIA+ Australian and New Zealand authors. Visitors are invited to discover literature to uplift, and choose a complimentary title to cherish, share and discuss. Books are available until our catalogue is exhausted.

To mark this third iteration of the Queer Library, Aesop will continue to platform a diverse range of queer voices, extending the book selection to include a wider representation of BIPOC, trans and gender non-conforming authors. The Queer Library will highlight contemporary stories that empower, showcasing writers of the present and next generation who are challenging boundaries and shifting the narrative for positive change. By providing a platform to uplift Australian and New Zealand LGBTQIA+ voices underrepresented on the global stage, the Aesop Queer Library will help carve out space for meaningful conversations on the path forward as a community.
