In partnership with Transgender Victoria, the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) invite you to a special event during Trans Awareness Week to reflect, share and connect.

We know that for many in the community, especially trans and gender diverse people, experiences with the death and memorial sector can sometimes be difficult and excluding.

Honouring with Pride provides a moment to come together with LGBTQIA+ community members, their chosen families, and allies to honour those we’ve lost, acknowledge ongoing challenges, and imagine a more inclusive future.

The event will feature:
– Welcome to Country
– Emcees Cerulean and 2Joocee
– Speakers including the CEO of Transgender Victoria
– Performance by Mill from Porpoise Spit
– An opportunity for attendees to remember and honour a loved one
– Light refreshments provided by Crepes for Change
