It’s a bold, high‑energy promotional poster with a black background covered in colourful starbursts. In the centre is a large pair of glossy red lips with a rainbow tongue sticking out, giving the whole design a cheeky, Pride‑party vibe. Above and around the lips is bright, blocky text announcing “Jessi and the Jetts Present Mornington Peninsula Pride Party.” The event details — Friday 5th June 2026, Scotties Garage, 71 Miles Grove Seaford — are displayed clearly, along with the lineup promise: Drag. Live Music. Burlesque. At the bottom, there’s a rainbow bar and the Instagram handle @jessiandthejetts. The whole poster feels loud, fun, queer, and ready to party.

Venue

The Mornington Peninsula has waited long enough — so we’re throwing the Pride party we deserve.
To celebrate PRIDE MONTH. join us for a huge, glitter‑soaked, heart‑thumping celebration of queer joy, live music, drag excellence, and community power. This is more than a party… it’s the beginning of something big.
✨ LIVE MUSIC BY JESSI AND THE JETTS
✨ SPECIAL GUEST LOCAL DRAG PERFORMERS
✨ A dancefloor full of queer folk, allies, misfits & magic‑makers
✨ A safe, inclusive, unapologetically fabulous space
Expect drag and burlesque performers to take the stage backed by a live rock band. Raw. Loud. Camp. Electric. And born right here on the Peninsula.
We’re kicking off Pride Month with a Pride Party blowout to show the haters, the doubters, and the “why do we need Pride?” crowd exactly why queer spaces matter — and why the Peninsula is ready for more.
Historically on the Peninsula, there has been nowhere for queer folks to exhale — nowhere to feel held, celebrated, or even safely visible. Growing up Queer here, you learned to shrink yourself, to scan every room, to wait until you could get off the freeway and finally breathe somewhere else. And that’s exactly why Pride here matters. Because the next generation of queer kids shouldn’t have to leave their own hometown to feel like they belong. They deserve to see themselves reflected in their own community — loud, joyful, unapologetic, and surrounded by love. Creating queer spaces on the Peninsula isn’t just about parties; it’s about rewriting the story for every kid who’s ever felt alone here. It’s about showing them that this place can be home for them too.
Wherever you fit on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, whether you’re queer, questioning, an ally, a performer, a party gremlin, or someone who just wants to dance under a disco ball with beautiful people… this night is for you.
Come celebrate. Come be seen. Come be loud. Come make history with us.
🌈 Let’s make the Peninsula proud.
🌈 Let’s show them we BELONG here.
