Parents and Friends of Queer Youth (PFQY) is a monthly gathering of the parents and friends of queer young people. It allows them to share their experiences, helping each other provide a safe and supportive environment for the young people they care for.
Come along to help make South Gippsland a better place for queer young people to grow and thrive.
PQFY meets at Leongatha Community House on the first Friday of every month at 7pm. Parents and friends will have one room, and young people are welcome to socialise in the neighbouring room. Queer young people of up to the age of 24 are welcome, but will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult if under the age of 13. Parents and friends do not need to bring the young person they are supporting: they are welcome to just come and join the conversation.
