Writing, reading & literature

Join us at St Kilda Library for a conversation with celebrated LGBTIQA+ activists and historians, Liz Ross and Graham Willett, about the lessons of the gay liberation movement in Australia and their ongoing relevance today. Hosted by Janey Stone, founder of Interventions publishers.

Liz Ross and Graham Willett are activists who have been heavily involved in Gay Liberation politics since the 1970s. Both of their books delve into the history of LGBTIQA+ activism in Australia before the first Mardi Gras in 1978.

This event is being held in celebration of International Pride Month.
