BreastScreen Victoria

About

We invite women and trans and gender-diverse people aged 50 to 74 with no breast symptoms to have a free, 10-minute breast screen every 2 years.

Breast screens with us are performed by woman radiographers and do not require a Medicare card or doctor’s referral. With over 50 clinics and 2 mobile screening services across the state, you can choose a clinic that is convenient for you.

Are you aged 50 to 74?

A breast/chest screen is recommended for:

  • Cis women
  • Trans women (5+ years on HRT)
  • Trans men (that have not had top surgery)
  • Gender diverse/non-binary people (AFAB and have not had top surgery or AMAB with 5+ years of HRT)

We are registered as: Charity.
