Darebin Youth Services Queer Collective

About

Darebin Youth Services’ Queer Collective is back in 2025 and we’re inviting young people to join!

This free, twice-monthly program is designed for LGBTQIA+ young people (aged 12–18) living in Darebin. It offers a safe and supportive environment where participants can meet others, enjoy activities like crafts and music, and develop valuable skills in event planning — including the exciting opportunity to help organise Darebin’s upcoming Queer Formal.

Here’s what you need to know:

✔️ Safe, inclusive and affirming space

✔️ Ages 12–18 (under 16s will require parent/carer phone permission)

✔️ Free program, includes snacks and fun creative activities

✔️ Great for social connection, confidence building, and community engagement

✔️ Location details are shared directly upon registration to ensure privacy and safety

Know a young person who might love this? Encourage them to register their interest — our friendly team will be in touch to confirm via phone or email.

Together, let’s support our young queer community to thrive.
