About

The Geelong Pride Film Festival is one of largest LGBTIQA+ film festivals in regional Australia. The next festival in 1st – 11th May 2025.

GPFF is a non-profit community-run festival that screens contemporary LGBTIQ+ themed films in Geelong through an annual film festival and a series of special screenings and events. The 2024 festival included attendance of over 1500 across 21 events.

The festival is independently curated by a programming committee. The Gender Frontiers short film collection is curated by a Transgender, Gender Diverse and Non-binary Programming Sub-committee.

GPFF wishes to acknowledge that the Geelong Pride Film Festival is held on the traditional lands of the Wadawurrung people. We acknowledge them as Traditional Owners and pay respect to their Elders, past and present.
