Geelong Pride Film Festival

About

The Geelong Pride Film Festival brings contemporary and classic LGBTIQA+ themed films to Geelong for an inclusive film festival for the whole community. In addition to our annual festival we bring you special one-off screenings throughout the year. Next festival in 18th – 28th April.

We are a group of volunteers who want to bring more diversity to the region’s screens. Our festival aims to contribute to the development of a thriving and vibrant community in Geelong for those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and our allies.

We want GPFF to provide a place for LGBTQIA+ voices to be heard and celebrated on screen and we want to share these stories with the wider community. Please contact us to get involved. We are looking to collaborate and recruit partners, volunteers and sponsors. Like our page to support the festival and stay up to date with festival news.

GPFF wishes to acknowledge that the Geelong Pride Film Festival is held on the traditional lands of the Wadawurrung people. We acknowledge them as Traditional Owners and pay respect to their Elders, past and present.

See screening session details for accessibility details including captions, Auslan and hearing loop availability. All venues are wheelchair accessible. Priority seating and early access to seating is available for people requiring assistance.

We are registered as: Incorporated Association.
