Hares & Hyenas is Melbourne queer and intersectional bookshop. We aim to offer the books and products you need with an eye always on the future needs and desires of our constantly evolving, growing and emerging communities. We aim to offer a safe and secure space that learns from the recent past, the pandemic included, which is welcoming and accessible to all. We aim to offer you access to the books, the arts, entertainment, learning and social engagement that you have come to expect at Hares & Hyenas. Like us, the Victorian Pride Centre looks beyond the letters, acronyms, words and descriptors often used to define us to find the commonalities that define our belonging together. Our belonging does not always require agreement, our togetherness can accommodate huge differences, and our ability to treat our differences as strengths makes us a resilient and formidable force when fighting for the rights of us and others love as we choose and live as we must.

Qualifications: We offer presentations to educational institutions, organisations and business on gender and sexuality as it pertains to community building, performance and the arts, literary resources and changes in the LGBTIQAP+ communities. We also develop online and other content for a huge variety of uses in collaboration with myriad artists and producers.
