(in)visible

(in)visible connects young queer and trans people aged 16-25 years old from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds through community workshops and events.

The projects is run by and for young queer and transgender people of color (QTIPOC). (in)visible exists in recognition of the additional supports needs of QTPOC folks – multiple intersectional identities results in increased exclusion from communities as well as reduced ability to see oneself reflected in others. In response (in)Visible workshops are only open to QTPOC individuals.  The staff and workshops facilitators that run (in)Visible workshops are also QTPOC members themselves.

In)visible workshops comprise a number of fun activities and excursions focused on the various cultural identities that comprise it’s participants. Some examples of previous workshops include film screenings, Lunar New year Celebrations, art and museum tours and craft workshops.

How to sign up to (in)visible

Check out our Instagram page for (in)Visible here. Once you find an event you would like to attend, fill out the RSVP form for the event found on our Linktree either by following this link or clicking on the button in our Instagram bio. When you attend your first (in)Visible event, we will ask you to complete an intake form for the program.
