KalM Haven – When Life Keeps Piling On

About

Hi, I’m Kim.

I’m queer, neurodivergent, part of a two-mum family and a parent to neurodivergent kids, including a trans teenager.

I know what it feels like to enter a space wondering if you’re going to be judged, misunderstood, or expected to explain yourself before you can get the support you actually came for.

And I know how much pressure people can end up carrying when they spend years navigating spaces, systems and expectations that were never built with them in mind.

That pressure doesn’t just sit in your head. It shows up in your body, your relationships, your decisions and the way you get through the day.

That’s where KalM Haven comes in.

My background includes 30+ years across massage therapy, myotherapy, teaching anatomy and physiology, and working in community health. I’ve also worked alongside mental health professionals and seen firsthand how what someone is carrying emotionally can show up physically as pain, tension, exhaustion and a body that never seems to switch off.

Today, I bring that experience into my work as a coach and functional and transformational breathwork practitioner. My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodivergent-affirming, but most of all, it is shaped around the actual person in front of me.

KEEP YOUR CLOTHES ON

I created Keep Your Clothes On for people who need somewhere to put down what their body has been carrying, but don’t necessarily feel comfortable in the spaces where that kind of support is usually offered.

For anyone who doesn’t want to walk into a clinic wondering how they’ll be treated.

Who doesn’t want to undress, be touched, explain their body, or deal with someone else’s assumptions about who they are.

Who finds that massage tables, unfamiliar environments or being expected to relax on command simply add more pressure.

Keep Your Clothes On is my signature 60-minute, one-to-one online guided internal breath massage.

We start with a quick chat about what’s been going on, where you’re feeling the pressure, and where your body is holding it.

I then guide you through a session tailored to you, using your breath to work with tension from the inside.

It draws on my background in massage therapy, myotherapy, anatomy and physiology, combined with functional and transformational breathwork.

You’re in your own space.

You stay fully clothed.

Nobody touches you.

You remain in control.

No judgement. No explaining yourself. No need to fit someone else’s idea of what support should look like.

All the release. None of the hands.

PRIVATE COACHING AND SUPPORT

My private coaching is for people who need help making sense of what’s happening in their lives, understanding where the pressure is coming from, and working out what will actually help.

You might be parenting neurodivergent kids, navigating complicated systems, carrying the load at home or work, or realising you’ve spent so long taking care of everyone else that you’ve lost sight of what you need.

We look at the bigger picture: the patterns, expectations and pressures affecting your decisions, relationships, capacity and ability to function.

Then we work out what support, tools and strategies make sense for you.

That might include coaching, practical ways to reduce pressure, support around communication and boundaries, nervous system education, guided practices, or understanding what your body is telling you before everything becomes too much.

There is no one-size-fits-all plan. The work is shaped around your needs, your circumstances and what is realistic in your life. Not another list of things you won’t use or another expectation that adds to the pressure you’re already under.

TIME TO UNMASK

A live, guided online session for people who are tired of holding everything together.

It isn’t a support group. You won’t be asked to share your story, explain your situation or take on everyone else’s stuff.

I do the guiding. You get to stop for a while, put down some of what you’ve been carrying, and create enough space to think, breathe and feel more like yourself again.

ORGANISATIONS AND COMMUNITY SESSIONS

I also offer tailored workshops for organisations, workplaces and community settings exploring how ongoing pressure affects communication, reactions, decision-making and capacity.

Because giving people another strategy to remember won’t help if nobody has looked at whether they have the capacity to use it.
