Dr Matthew Young (Chinese Medicine) is a fully qualified and AHPRA registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner and Herbal Dispenser.

Matt understands the importance of providing a safe and understanding space for his patients, and approaches practice with a high level of warmth and compassion.

He values the importance of inter-professional practice and collaboration with other healthcare practitioners, combining both western and traditional Chinese medicine approaches to achieve optimal health outcomes for his patients. 
 
He is especially passionate about LGBTQIA+ health issues, recognising that these individuals face their own unique set of challenges when seeking equitable and affirming healthcare. In particular he is dedicated to ensuring that trans and non-binary people receive physical and emotional support at whatever stage of their transition journey.

He also has a keen interest in treating men’s fertility & health, dermatological conditions, and cosmetic acupuncture.

Matt graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine.
