QSpace @ Headpsace Glenroy

About

QSpace is a social and support group for LGBTIQ young people aged 15 to 25. This youth-led group is run by the QSpace team at headspace Glenroy: Joey (they/them), our clinical facilitator, and Jem (they/them), our youth peer facilitator. 

Sessions are run in person in the headspace Glenroy meeting room, which is located on the first floor of our building, accessible via our stairs and elevator. Most sessions are run by our two facilitators, some sessions give the opportunity for participants to run a part of the group that day, and some sessions are informative and run by our other peer work team. The group is there to create art, make friendships, and learn new things.  

QSpace is a safe space where participants can choose whether and how much they speak and participate. In past QSpace sessions we have made art, played board games, online games, learned about LGBTIQ history, and chatted to folks from other organisations.  QSpace has been running for over 5 years.  If you’d like to come along or ask more about QSpace please call or email us via headspace Glenroy.  New participants are always welcome!

Opening Times: QSpace runs the last Thursday of every month from 5pm to 6:30pm.
