About

Rainbow Giving Australia is an ambitious national LGBTQIA+ community foundation dedicated to supporting community-led solutions by mobilising funding, growing skills, and expanding the knowledge base about the funding needs across the LGBTQIA+ sector. Our vision is for an empowered, sustainable, and united rainbow community sector.

We offer funding support through several key programs:

GiveOUT Day: Australia’s annual day of giving for LGBTQIA+ communities, created to address the chronic underfunding of our community’s organisations. Keep an eye out for our announcement for this year’s GiveOUT Day where the entire rainbow community comes together to celebrate, fundraise, and champion the incredible work being done by LGBTQIA+ non-profits nationwide.
Amplify Pride Grants: Designed to supercharge initiatives that build the strength and sustainability of our sector, these grants support organisations across Australia that tackle big, systemic issues. Grants range between $30,000 and $60,000 and are available annually.
Ignite Pride Grants: These grants are for local or place-based projects, or those focused on specific groups or populations. Grants range between $5,000 and $20,000 and are available annually.
