Rural Rainbows

About

Rural Rainbows a peer-led social group for LGBTQIA+ young people and allies aged 12-25 in the Yarra Ranges community. Our free weekly meetups are fun, chill spaces where young people can connect with others, take part in activities and events, and chat about things that matter most to them.

Our groups are held in on Wednesdays and alternate between Lilydale, Yarra Junction and Healesville locations. We provide snacks, fidgets and activities, as well as information and resources to connect young LGBTQIA+ people and their families to supports and services they may need.

Rural Rainbows is led by local young people from the Yarra Ranges, with support from Each staff. We understand what it means to need a supportive, proud, inclusive space where you can connect with people like yourself!

We are a part of Each, who are registered as a: Not-for-profit.
