Biography
Alicia Herrera is a Latin American, queer, neurodiverse diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and early talent professional. She works at the intersection of inclusion, lived experience and early career pathways, designing initiatives that create more equitable and engaging experiences for young people entering the workforce.
With a Bachelor of Communications and experience across diversity and graduate programs, Alicia brings a strong focus on inclusive recruitment, employee experience and youth engagement. She is a 2024 Minus18 Young Leader and Pinnacle Foundation alum, with a background in public speaking and advocacy.
Drawing on her intersecting identities, Alicia is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard and supported to belong.
Experience
Alicia has experience facilitating workshops, leading group discussions and speaking across youth, education and corporate settings. Her work focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion, early talent development, and lived experience storytelling.
She has delivered sessions for students and early career cohorts, including networking and career development workshops through the Pinnacle Foundation, and has supported youth engagement through her work as a 2024 Minus18 Young Leader. Alicia also facilitates conversations and activities within graduate and intern programs, creating inclusive and engaging environments for participation.
