Biography
Anastasia Rose Le works at the intersection of lived experience, public policy, and institutional reform, with a focus on how systems shape people’s access to safety, work, dignity, and belonging.
A former forcibly displaced person and a member of the LGBTIQA+ and multicultural communities, Anastasia brings firsthand insight into how governance, workforce, and service systems are experienced by those most often excluded from them. Her work centres on translating lived experience into practical frameworks for decision-making, workforce design, and institutional accountability across government, community, and organisational settings.
She has worked nationally across employment services, disability, health, and community sectors, supporting leaders and organisations to strengthen cultural capability, inclusive practice, and governance approaches that respond to intersectional realities. Anastasia currently serves as a Board Director of the Victorian Pride Centre, a community advisory member to Victoria Police, and an advisor to multiple local councils and cross-sector initiatives.
Her induction to the Victorian Honour Roll of Women reflects broader recognition of the contribution of Trans Women of Colour to social and civic life.
Anastasia’s speaking focuses on equity, governance, and lived experience as a source of structural insight, not just personal narrative. She is known for creating thoughtful, grounded spaces that invite reflection while also naming the practical responsibilities institutions hold. Her approach balances care with clarity, and empathy with accountability
