Country Roads to Pride – Pride Gallery exhibition presented by Transgender Victoria

KL Joy portrait

We are thrilled to announce that our new exhibition in the Pride Gallery is ‘Country Roads to Pride’, presented as part of Transgender Victoria’s peer-to-peer support program.

This series of portraits by photographer James Mepham features trans and gender diverse people from across regional Victoria sharing their personal stories.

Country Roads to Pride celebrates the journeys that some trans and gender diverse people make to feel at home. This exhibition asks shows how these communities also live and thrive in many spaces outside the city.

“We ask to be welcomed and affirmed wherever we grow and invite you to be part of our journey.”

Thank you to Transgender Victoria, James Mepham and all the participants for bringing this project to life.

Now showing in the Pride Gallery until mid-May!
