Come and celebrate Bi+ Pride Day with Victoria’s multi-gender-attracted community. This will be a relaxed community gathering with a focus on social connection. We’ll be playing barefoot bowls, contributing to a community art project, and making many bad puns.
Finger food will be provided, finger guns are optional!

This is an accessible and family friendly event, and free to all of our community members and allies. This event is brought to you by the work of our wonderful Melbourne Bisexual Network Volunteers, and the Victorian Government’s Pride Events and Festivals Fund.
DETAILS
Cost: This is a free event, however bookings are required as the venue has a maximum capacity. We’ll ask for your name on the day, to confirm you’ve booked. If you can no longer attend, please let us know so we can offer your ticket to someone else.
Inclusion: This event is a safe space for our community. Racism, sexism, ableism, bipohobia, homophobia, transphobia, and any other forms of discrimination or hate speech have no place here, and will not be tolerated in this space.
Respect for First Nations people: This event welcomes First Nations people. Melbourne Bisexual Network acknowledges the Wurundjeri People as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which this event will occur and we pay our respect to their Elders. We recognise that this event is occurring on stolen lands and that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
Trans and gender diverse friendly: This event welcomes trans and gender diverse people. Gender neutral bathrooms will be available.
Family friendly: This event is family friendly and we invite people of all ages to participate. Community members with partners or children are welcome to invite them to attend, please remember to book tickets for them also.
Wheelchair access: The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible toilet. The bowls activity will also be wheelchair accessible.

The bowls activity will be on the bowling greens next to the venue, which are not undercover. Amplified music will be playing at moderate volume inside the venue, but not in the outdoor spaces. The bowls club is set in an area of parkland which offers quiet outdoor spaces if needed. Clear signage will be provided in the venue.
Food and drink: A moderate amount of finger food will be provided. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options will be provided and labelled. Water and some non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Other drinks, including alcoholic drinks, can be purchased from the bar at the venue.
