    The showcase for the 2024/25 cohort of the Victorian Pride Centre’s Telling it with Pride Speakers (TiPS) Program is a milestone event that highlights the achievements and growth of participants following an intensive three-month mentorship and training journey.

    This inspiring evening celebrates their courage and creativity as participants share their personal stories, showcasing the public speaking and digital storytelling skills they’ve honed during the program. The event will feature a series of compelling speeches and presentations, each reflecting the unique journeys and impactful messages of the TiPS Program graduates.

    Doors will open at 6:30pm, with an official start at 7pm. The Showcase will also be AUSLAN Interpreted. 

    Content Warnings:
    The speeches throughout the evening include references to topics such as:

    • Homophobia
    • Mental Health
    • Genocide
    • Mentions of Racism
    • Suicidal Ideation
    • A Minor Surgical Discussion

    This event is FREE, however bookings are required.

    About the Program

    The Telling it with Pride: Speakers Program (TiPS Program) is an exciting initiative by the Victorian Pride Centre designed to empower LGBTIQA+ individuals to share their personal stories with confidence and impact. Through this program, participants will receive comprehensive training, support to develop their skills in storytelling and public speaking. The ultimate goal is to promote understanding, empathy, and inclusion across various sectors in Victoria by amplifying the voices of LGBTIQA+ community members.
