The Victorian Pride Centre Board Chair Jude Munro AO, alongside Minister for Equality, Martin Foley MP, today announced Star Health as the Pride Centre’s first commercial tenant.

Star Health is a leading provider of primary health and community care services in the inner south east of Melbourne. It has agreed to take out the second floor of the Pride Centre to locate its administrative and organisational headquarters, along with outreach services.

Star Health has been delivering services for over 40 years, is Rainbow Tick accredited and committed to providing an inclusive service to the community, and work environment where individuals feel safe, affirmed and celebrated.

In line with the Pride Centre’s operational model, commercial tenants aligned to the LGBTIQ community, as owners or providers, are currently being selected to occupy a portion of the overall floor space within the Pride Centre.

The model, which is focused on sustainability and affordability, provides for a range of tenants across sectors and industries. Diversity in service offerings will ensure a vibrant holistic Centre.
