Kitchen Table Counselling
About
Kitchen Table Counselling is a therapy practice that centres the experience of people who have experienced marginalisation by society, especially queer, neurodiverse, disabled, fat and racialised people. We are members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as being neurodivergent and disabled. Our work starts from a place of wholistic acceptance of you, your experiences, and your family, chosen or biological.
We offer therapy on a broad range of topics including neuordivergence, trauma, and diverse relationship structures including polyamory/non-monogamy and D/s dynamics.
Kitchen Table Counselling centres an anti-oppressive practice framework, recognising the impacts of our positions of privilege and oppression and how this affects our world view. We embrace our lived experience and highlight the principals of peer practice in all the work that we do.
We are registered as: Company.
