2. What is the Victorian Pride Centre?

The Victorian Pride Centre is Australia’s first purpose-built hub for LGBTQIA+ communities. Designed by Brearley Architects and Urbanists and Grant Amon Architects, the Centre officially opened in 2022. It houses 17 key LGBTQIA+ organisations and offers a range of flexible, multi-use spaces, including meeting rooms, co-working areas, a theatrette, a gallery, and a rooftop bar.

More than just a building, the Pride Centre is a place for connection, collaboration, and celebration. It provides a space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and organisations to share ideas, access resources, and advance equality, diversity, and inclusion across Victoria.
