Booking fees
Flexible Fee Structure at the Victorian Pride Centre
We offer a three-tiered fee structure to accommodate various organisations:
- Commercial Rate
- Discounted Rate for Large and Medium Not-for-Profit Organisations
- Discounted Rate for Small Not-for-Profit Organisations or Individuals
Definitions:
- Large or Medium Not-for-Profit Organisation: An organisation classified as large or medium by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission based on annual revenue.
- Small Not-for-Profit Organisation: An organisation classified as small by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission based on annual revenue.
Operating Hours:
- Weekday Rates: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Evening Rates: From 5:00 PM onwards
Note: Bookings outside these hours may incur additional charges. Organisations or community groups hiring meeting rooms or event spaces must provide proof of income to qualify for discounts from the commercial rate. Individuals booking for private functions will automatically receive the small not-for-profit discount.

Additional Charges: Some bookings may incur extra fees. After receiving your booking request, we will provide a tailored quote, including any applicable additional charges.
Personnel and Other Charges (All Ex-GST):
- Changes to standard meeting room layout: $20
- Changes to standard event space layout: $50
- Self-service instant coffee/tea (meeting room): $35
- Self-service instant coffee/tea (event space): Starting from $100
- Bookings starting/ending outside operating hours: $30
- Cleaning fee: Costs will be advised by VPC if applicable.
- Crowd Controller Fee: Required for public events with large crowds, at the discretion of the Victorian Pride Centre.
- Event Staff: Costs for additional staff requirements will be provided by VPC.
Fee Relief: Organisations experiencing financial hardship may request fee relief from the non-commercial rate. Applications must be submitted no later than 60 days before the proposed event date; late applications will not be accepted. For an application form, please email bookings@pridecentre.org.au.
