Amnesty International LGBTIQ Network
About
Guys, Gals and non-binary pals,
The fight for marriage equality was merely the beginning in a long fight for justice and equal rights.
Amnesty International protects and empowers people – from abolishing the death penalty to protecting sexual and reproductive rights, and from combating discrimination to defending refugee rights. We speak out for anyone whose freedom and dignity are under threat.
When human rights are denied, we won’t be silent. We’ll continue to campaign relentlessly – both at home and globally – to give a voice to those who’ve had theirs taken away.
This network not only focuses on national issues but also international! It is important we highlight and fight for these issues as we are, at the end of the day a family.
We are a part of Amnesty International Australia, who are registered as a: Not-for-profit.
