Collins Street Baptist Church (CSBC) is proud to be fully inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ community.

At CSBC, LGBTQIA+ individuals are welcomed with open arms and are invited to participate in all aspects of the church community. The church’s leadership team (diaconate) includes several deacons who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, a testament to the church’s commitment to inclusion and acceptance.

CSBC is the oldest continuing Baptist Church in Australia and the only Baptist Church in Melbourne’s CBD. The church has a long and rich history of advocating for social justice and equality, and its commitment to the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community is a reflection of its broader values of love, respect, and acceptance.

CSBC is a place where people of all backgrounds, gender identities and sexual orientations can come together in worship, fellowship, and community. LGBTQIA+ individuals who are Christians or who seek to know God can feel safe and supported at CSBC, knowing that they are valued and celebrated for who they are.
