We are excited to welcome the launch of the LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau, an initiative by the Victorian Pride Centre designed to connect audiences, organisations, and communities with a group of trained speakers. These speakers bring a blend of storytelling, focusing on personal lived experiences and professional insights, to a wide range of discussions and opportunities. The launch coincides with the Telling it with Pride Speakers (TiPS) Program Showcase.
The TiPS Program was created to empower LGBTIQA+ individuals to share their personal stories with confidence and impact. Through comprehensive training in public speaking and digital storytelling, participants have honed their skills to amplify their voices within the community and inspire social change.
The showcase will feature impactful speeches and presentations, each sharing the lived experiences of being part of the LGBTIQA+ community. It promises to be an evening of powerful storytelling, fostering inclusion, empathy, and understanding.
We would like to take this moment to congratulate the TiPS Program Graduates for 2024/2025! These graduates have successfully completed an intensive workshop series led by an exceptional group of guest speakers from within the community, including Dean Arcuri, Erin Vincent, Delsi Cat, Son Vivienne, Fleassy Malay, Trianna Butler, and Tathra Street.
The TiPS Program, together with the LGBTIQA+ Speakers Bureau, represents a vital step forward in amplifying LGBTIQA+ voices and promoting greater understanding across Australia. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the participants, advisory group members, and guest speakers who have contributed to making this inaugural program a remarkable success.
