Expression of Interest: Performers, Food Vendors & Activators for the Inaugural Queer Multicultural Carnival

The Victorian Pride Centre and AGMC is calling on artists, performers, food vendors, and cultural leaders to take part in the inaugural Queer Multicultural Carnival—a vibrant, community-driven celebration of LGBTIQA+ culture, creativity, and identity.

We are seeking expressions of interest for paid opportunities in the following categories:

• Performers – Musicians, dancers, spoken word artists, drag performers, and other live acts.
• Cultural Talks & Panels – Speakers, community leaders, and storytellers who can share insights on queer identity and intersectionality.
• Activations & Programs – Interactive installations, workshops, and creative experiences that bring people together.

We are also looking for a diverse range of food stalls/trucks to participate in the day.

• Food Stalls/Trucks & Culinary Delights – A diverse selection of food vendors showcasing multicultural cuisine.

Whether you’re an artist, a chef, or a community leader with a unique idea, we want to hear from you!

The Victorian Pride Centre received a small grant from the Department of Family, Fairness and Housing to support this event – Activations will be chosen on the most suitable use of these funds to create the Queer Multicultural Carnival.
